Is Autumn a bad time to sell a home?

It’s hard to “time” the market at anytime, but I will say this, it has always been my experience that Autumn is hot! I have been a Realtor in Colorado since 1992 and I have seen it all by this point. One thing that has remained constant, once the dog days of summer are over, people buy homes. Once the summer vacations are over, it is time to bear down and get serious about investments for the end of the year.
So, no, Autumn is not a bad to sell. In fact, over the 19 years that I have been selling real estate, it has proven to be the best time!
